Various Technology Sectors within Alberta
Technology sector has become a major driver of the Alberta economy. It plays a key role in improving health care, education, delivery of government services, and all private sectors throughout the Province and including major cities such as Edmonton and Calgary among other emerging cities within the province.
The Alberta ICT sector generates more than $10.1 billion in revenues annually. Additionally, there are more than 5,200 firms employing more than 60,000 workers in the province.
